Merely
If you are trying to exist overnice to the sprag (mine was hardened so I did non worry) do every bit Mattie says. Plenty to rut a little and dry out them out completely.
Mine liked 12-15psi on a 3660lb auto. I was told by BFG too much current of air upwardly on the sidewall is no good on a heavy car. It was true with mine but your results may vary.

Haven't used a 350 in a long time, merely when I did, I did the one-two-three deal.
Only ran 12'south, and never hurt anything.
That being said, I now do high gear merely burnouts.
Much easier on parts as mentioned.
At your level you might demand low to get on the tire quick???
I definitely would non come out in 2nd, that would make me nervous??
I desire the engine rpm as low as possible, so why ane-two only???
Since you take an autotrans, not much you tin practise, exit in drive,
go up on the tire quick, and control the rpm's best you can.
What was the reason for doing the burnout slowly????
That has never worked for me, I would go sideways.
Race safe, and have fun!!!!!!!!!!
